Mike Johnson

Operations Manager

Nate Greer

Founder & President, Blue Ox Transport, Inc.

Nate Greer built Blue Ox Transport, Inc. from the ground up with a vision forged through firsthand experience. In 2014, he launched the company under the name Paul Bunyan Trucking LLC as an owner-operator hauling refrigerated freight between Minnesota, Florida, and Arizona. His dedication to reliability, safety, and steady growth soon expanded the business into a small fleet of owner-operators serving long-haul refrigerated lanes.

By 2020, Nate recognized an opportunity to evolve — shifting the company toward a home-daily model by partnering with FedEx Ground. This transition reflected his belief that professional drivers deserve both fulfilling careers and time at home with their families. Today, Blue Ox Transport operates a fully company-owned fleet, proudly supporting FedEx Ground with dependable linehaul service and a commitment to getting every driver home each day.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in logistics and transportation, Nate leads with a practical understanding of what it takes to keep trucks moving and teams motivated. He’s passionate about fostering a culture built on safety, integrity, and respect — ensuring that every driver and team member feels valued, supported, and part of something built to last.

Looking ahead, Nate’s vision is clear: to grow Blue Ox Transport into a 150+ truck fleet within the next decade, continuing to expand responsibly while maintaining the family-driven culture and reliability that define the company’s success today.

Mike Johnson​

Operations Manager

Mike Johnson joined Blue Ox Transport in 2021, bringing unparalleled loyalty and dedication to his role as Operations Manager. As a committed leader, Mike is always learning and remains open-minded, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve processes and performance. His relentless drive to better himself and his team sets him apart, as he works harder than anyone, ensuring every task is completed to his exacting standards.

A proud husband and father, Mike finds deep fulfillment in his family life, which fuels his passion for success both personally and professionally. In his role, he is devoted to leading his team toward achieving their goals while fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing hockey, activities that keep him energized and bring balance to his life. These hobbies inspire a fresh perspective, which he channels into his leadership approach.

Dang Vue

Overnight Operations Manager

Dang Vue joined Blue Ox Transport in 2022 as a Class A Driver, quickly demonstrating his dedication and leadership potential. His commitment to excellence led to his promotion to Overnight Operations Supervisor in 2023, followed by another well-earned promotion to Operations Assistant Manager in late 2024. With over seven years of experience in the transportation industry, Dang brings a wealth of expertise and a hands-on approach to fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

A devoted husband and father of two sons, Dang finds balance and inspiration in his family life. His passion for the outdoors shines through in fishing trips with his loved ones, which recharge his energy and perspective. This enthusiasm carries into his professional role, where he cultivates a positive atmosphere built on teamwork, open communication, and mutual support.

Dang is committed to continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance processes and elevate team performance. Dan Mish

Rochester Supervisor

Dan Mish joined Blue Ox Transport in July 2023 as a Class A Driver at our Stewartville, MN location, bringing 22 years of driving experience and a deep understanding of the transportation industry. His expertise, including seven years as an owner-operator, and his strong foundation in vehicle maintenance quickly distinguished him as a valuable asset. Recognizing his dedication and knowledge, Blue Ox promoted Dan to the Stewartville Driver Lead position, where he now manages a small team and strengthens relationships with FedEx management.

A committed leader, Dan fosters a collaborative and efficient work environment, leveraging his extensive industry experience to guide his team toward success. His hands-on approach and passion for excellence ensure operational excellence and high standards in every aspect of his role.

Outside of work, Dan’s disciplined and focused mindset carries into his personal life, where he continues to bring the same level of commitment and professionalism. As the Stewartville Driver Lead, Dan is dedicated to driving team performance, building strong partnerships, and contributing to Blue Ox Transport’s ongoing success.
