Blue Ox Transport is hiring a working Driver Lead — Supervisor: a Class A driver who also runs the show on weekends. Saturday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM. Up to $95,000/year, home every night.
What you'll do:
• Drive dedicated local FedEx Ground linehaul (drop-and-hook, doubles and singles) — home daily
• Act as manager on duty Saturday and Sunday: coach drivers, resolve dispatch and equipment issues, keep freight moving
• Lead by example on safety, DOT compliance, and on-time performance
• Be the bridge between weekend drivers and the ops team; help onboard and mentor newer drivers
What we're looking for:
• Valid Class A CDL with 12+ months verifiable tractor-trailer experience (we verify DOT employment history — PSP/MVR)
• Demonstrated lead, trainer, dispatcher, or supervisor experience (trucking or comparable operations)
• Sound judgment under pressure — you'll be the senior person on site on weekends
• Clean safety record; doubles endorsement or willing to obtain before starting (we train)
• Saturday–Wednesday availability, 9a–8p
Requirements
- Class A CDL with doubles endorsement (or willingness to obtain — we'll work with you)
- 1+ year verifiable Class A experience
- Clean MVR
- DOT medical card
- Able to read, write, and speak English per 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2)
- Comfortable with ELDs and basic communication apps
- Pride in keeping your truck clean and your equipment cared for
