      Built from behind the wheel

One truck. One owner-operator. One standard.

Blue Ox started in Minnesota in 2014 with Nate Greer behind the wheel as an owner-operator. He still holds a Class A CDL and stays connected to the realities of the work.

The company has grown, but the standard has not changed: show up prepared, communicate clearly, keep the equipment clean and do the little things right—even when no one is watching.

“I started Blue Ox with one truck and a simple belief: do the work right and take care of the people who make it possible. As we grow, we’re looking for professional drivers and leaders who share that standard and want to help build a company that lasts.”
We hire carefully. We are building the kind of operation good drivers want to join—and want to stay with.

A company people can grow with

Building toward 150 trucks—and more ways to build a career.

Blue Ox has a long-range goal of growing toward 150 trucks. The number matters only if we grow the right way: creating steady opportunities for professional drivers, developing people who want more responsibility and building clear paths from the cab into leadership. We are building carefully—a place where good people can do work they are proud of and grow with something special.

“We are not growing for the number. We are growing to create the kind of careers great people can build a future on.”
